Wow! I haven't updated my journal in about half a year! Hooray! XD
Just wanted to say hello to everyone, this year is finally over school-wise. It definitely was the hardest year of my life, so thank god it's finished. Everything turned out well, at least.
I took three AP tests near the end of the year- one of them being art. So, I'll probablly be submiting some of the pieces from that.
For those of you that don't know: the AP portfolio has three parts.
1. Quality (you actually send in 5 of your best pieces to the AP board- this proved a lot of trouble for me because I could not fit my pieces into the portfolio (too big!), so I had to cut them, which was very depressing)
2. Breadth (12 pieces, submited digitally, show a large range of subject and media)
3. Concentration (12 pieces, submited digitally, shows one central theme to your work and growth, also includes a written commentary)

So I'm most proud of my concentration, so I'll be submiting those. My theme was musicians melting into their instruments, the unity one experiences when playing a musical instrument, that sort of thing (that was really generalized).
